In this role, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management to validate functional requirements while also contributing to the advancement of our automation testing capabilities.\nIf you are interested in supporting a new mission-critical, national defense initiative, apply today!\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.\nDesign, write, and execute detailed test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.\nIdentify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate or perform root-cause analysis.\nWork closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables.\nDesign, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.\nAssist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.\nActively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.\nRequirements:\nRequires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's Degree and at least 6 years of experience.
