The candidate will support and maintain computer hardware and software\nused in the testing center, ensuring reliable operation of all systems in a\nhigh-demand environment. This includes installation, configuration,\ntroubleshooting, and maintenance of both Microsoft Windows and Apple operating\nsystems.\nResponsibilities:\n·Provide dedicated onsite support for PC\nhardware, software, and peripheral devices at the DCAS Testing Center (149\nPierrepont Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201).\n·Install, update, and maintain computer systems,\nincluding Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS platforms.\n·Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues\nrelated to hardware, software, and network connectivity.\n·Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, handheld\ndevices, and printers.\n·Perform routine system administration tasks and\nassist with computer-related services for users.\n·Conduct hardware and software evaluations,\ntechnical reviews, and recommendations.\n·Coordinate with departments to support project\nrequirements and ensure minimal downtime.\n·Document technical issues and resolutions and\nmaintain accurate support records.\n·May be required to provide support at other MTA\nlocations as assigned.\n·Must be capable of moving and lifting equipment\nas necessary.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n·4 to 6 Years of Experience Proficiency in\nsupporting PC hardware, software, printers, and related peripherals.\n·Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office\nsuite of applications (Microsoft 365 Suite, Outlook...).\n·Familiarity with Apple operating systems.\n·Familiarity with Oracle client-based\napplications.\n·Experience with Active Directory and networking\nequipment.\n·Knowledge of Ethernet cabling and networking\nprotocols such as TCP/IP.\n·Experience with CAD software and technical\ndrawings is a plus.\n·A+ and Network+ certification preferred\n·Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral\nand written communication abilities.\n·Experience with Device provisioning (Autopilot)\nAbout Us:\nSince 2000, Tri-Force Consulting Services (https://triforce-inc.com) has been an MBE/SDB certified IT Consulting firm in the Philadelphia region.
