( Onsite for first 3 months, then Hybrid.)\nJob Description\nDesign and implement full stack solutions using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9.0, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript libraries, SQL Server, and Azure. \nIdentify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Visual Studio Application platform.\nDevelop and optimize database structures and queries using SQL Server to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.\nUtilize Azure services to build scalable and reliable cloud-based applications, leveraging services such as Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.\nCollaborate with interface designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless user experiences.\nIntegrate GIS applications and data with enterprise systems, improving operational workflows and data accessibility.\nManage, process, and analyze spatial data from diverse sources.\nParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements.\nTroubleshoot and debug complex application issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain system stability.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and user guides.\nEnsure solutions comply with industry best practices, standards, and security protocols.\nStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and improve development processes.\nCommunicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and project managers to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.\nPrepare documentation and conduct knowledge transition to support adoption across the organization and other city agencies.\n\nSkills assigned staff:\nRequired\n\nThe selected candidate must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as described in “Attachment 2 - City Labor Category Description” for Programmer 2. \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.\nProven experience (8+ years) as a full stack .NET Developer with hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9.0, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Azure.\nSolid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript libraries, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).\nExperience with RESTful API development and integration.\nDemonstrated experience working with geospatial data types in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle/Oracle Spatial, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.\nExperience with MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or other geospatial databases.\nFamiliarity with web-based geospatial visualization and map library integrations.\nAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environment.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within scope.\nStrong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery.\nFamiliarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub extensions.\nExperience with version control using Git and GitHub and release management practices.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications are a plus.\nDemonstrated experience working with technical and non-technical staff.\nAbout Us:\nSince 2000, Tri-Force Consulting Services (https://triforce-inc.com) has been an MBE/SDB certified IT Consulting\nfirm in the Philadelphia region.
