The IT Specialist is responsible for helping users with any technical challenges they may experience, troubleshoot, and provide guidance. It is crucial that our IT Specialist promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAdministration, installation, configuration and technical support of company IT requirements, including end user hardware/software, network devices, telecommunication (office and cellular phones), IOT devices, printers/copiers/scanners, AV equipment\nPerform all functions and responsibilities in conjunction with company policy and procedure\nProvide technical support for all employees of the company\nCoordinate with third party vendors for escalated support issues\nProvide user support for business line applications including Microsoft 365\nAssist with the administration, monitoring, maintenance, connectivity and operations of servers, firewalls, routers and switches across all physical and virtual locations\nAdminister IP phone systems, cellular MDM, physical access control, video surveillance, and print servers\nComplete network cyber security tasks including management and incident response of anti-virus/malware, anti-spam/phishing systems\nMaintain an inventory of installed software, hardware and licensing\nComplete IT onboarding, offboarding, and employee change requests within established service timelines, including user account setup, hardware provisioning, licensing, system access and IT orientation.\nComplete the implementation of various hardware and software upgrades including equipment refresh and application version upgrades, windows updates and other patches as required\nAssist with user training and the creation of instruction manuals\nAdministration of user accounts and access control, based on company policies\nRefer to and update internal IT documentation and setup guides\nSupport web activity and applications\nProvide after hours IT support for critical issues and business needs\nRequirements\nPost secondary education in Information Technology\nCompTIA A+ Certification considered an asset\nA minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar IT related role\nKnowledge of IT operating systems and server application environments including Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Helpdesk Ticketing\nHands-on experience installing IT hardware and software\nExperience with these technologies considered an asset: Lenovo Hardware, VMWare, Sophos Security and Network, Aruba Network, HPE Server Hardware, OpenEye Video, Virtual Keypad Access Control, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Atera, SolidWorks\nYou have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers\nYou have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to drive business success\nYou are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately\nWe Look Forward to Hearing from You!\nWe are committed to diversity and inclusion.
