We look forward to welcoming you to the Tri Tool family.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment, including manual and CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinding equipment, and other precision mechanical systems with high-precision bearings\nDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues to minimize downtime\nTroubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.\nAssist in troubleshooting complex machinery problems and implement effective solutions\nInstall, and maintain electrical systems, including both low voltage (as low as 5 volts) and high voltage (up to 480 volts).\nConduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards\nHandle and dispose of waste fluids in accordance with safety procedures.\nCollaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption\nSupport the installation, calibration, and set up of new machinery and equipment\nEnsure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures\nRequirements\nTwo or more years of equipment maintenance and electrical systems experience, within a manufacturing environment\nAbility to read and understand construction, electrical, and equipment drawings and schematics\nElectrical experience with both low voltage (as low as 5 volts) and high voltage (up to 480 volts)\nExperience orcertification with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems\nExperience working on hydraulic and pneumatic control systems\nExperience working with precision mechanical components, including high-precision bearings\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment\nBasic computer literacy for entering and retrieving information using standard business software\nStrong customer service skills to respond to coworker or supervisor inquiries and escalate complex matters appropriately\nAbility to build effective working relationships with staff, customers, and others.\nClear communication skills to convey instructions and follow written and verbal directions\nFlexibility to adapt to changing work priorities\nDemonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and common-sense skills\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team\nKnowledge of Cal/OSHA and OSHA safety regulations (preferred)\nMathematical ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations (preferred)\nEducation Requirements\n· High School Diploma or GED\n· Technical or other relevant training\nCertificates or Licenses Required\nThe following may be required depending on local, state, or contract requirements:\n· Valid Driver’s License\nPhysical Requirements\nEmployees must be able to perform the following physical activities for extended periods, with or without assistance:\n· Maneuvering in and around equipment\n· Bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and crawling\n· Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds\n· Climbing ladders and step stools as needed\nWork Environment\nWork is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with forklifts, material handling, and production equipment, as well as in an office setting.
