The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to implement, configure and optimize enterprise scale Drupal platforms while ensuring compliance with federal regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to translate existing functional and technical requirements and capabilities into robust Drupal implementations. \nBasic Requirements: \nAbility to successfully obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation. \nMust reside in and be able to perform work in the United States. \nMust have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years. \nBachelor’s degree required. \n10+ years of experience in web development, primarily focused on Drupal \nMust-Have Requirements: \nStrong custom Drupal module development in PHP. \nHands-on experience with Content Moderation and Workflows. \nExpertise in role-based permissions. \nExperience with JSON:API. \nAdditional Qualifications: \nExperience with Drupal 11.x. \nAdvanced knowledge of Drupal architecture and modules. \nProven track record of architecting enterprise-scale Drupal implementations. \nExperience working with a team of cross-functional developers, coordinating backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA efforts to deliver high-quality Drupal solutions. \n Deep expertise in supporting technologies including: \nPHP development and modern practices \nModern Drupal architecture and module development \nConfiguration management and deployment strategies \nDrupal multisite architecture \nComplex content modeling and migrations \nPerformance optimization and caching strategies \nSecurity best practices and hardening techniques \nAPI development and integration \nAutomated testing and quality assurance \nDevOps practices and CI/CD implementation, ideally in AWS \nExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AWS ECS/ECR) \nProficiency with build tools and dependency management (Composer) as well as version control systems (Git) and workflows \nExperience with Front-end technologies (React, Angular, JavaScript, CSS) \nExpertise with database migrations and database optimization \nDrupal-based certifications preferred (e.g., Acquia) \nStrong understanding of information architecture and knowledge management principles \nExperience with government security requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA) \nResponsibilities: \nDevelop Drupal implementations, focusing on enterprise-scale solutions and multi-site deployments \nDesign, build, and modify custom multi-step workflows in which different user roles review and approve items against deadlines. \nMaintain hundreds of email and in-app notification templates tied to various IDM roles, updating notification timing, recipients, and messaging as workflows change. \nWork closely with the technical lead for a small Drupal delivery team, providing hands-on development support. \nDesign and implement content architectures, taxonomies, and data models \nMentor junior and mid-level Drupal engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs. \nIdentify skills gaps and recommend training, documentation, or process improvements to strengthen the team. \nSupport and drive technical strategies for Drupal development of customer modules and enterprise integration \nProvide technical oversight for security hardening and performance optimization \nHelp support Drupal development efforts, leveraging best practices and coding standards \nCollaborate closely with DevOps, security, UX, and product teams to ensure Drupal solutions integrate cleanly into the broader platform ecosystem. \nReview and optimize Drupal implementations and deployments \nSupport CI/CD pipeline deployment strategies \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address program-specific platform needs \nWhy Tria?\nWhat defines the Tria brand is more than just our dedication to excellence in our craft; it’s our incredible team of dedicated, talented, and passionate people that make Tria so exceptional.
