This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning problems end-to-end and working closely with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems.\nBuild scalable, maintainable frontend applications using React.js .\nDesign and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.js .\nOwn feature delivery from requirements clarification to production release.\nMake thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.\nWrite clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.\nReview code from peers and raise the overall quality bar.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis.\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to refine requirements.\nEnsure adherence to security, privacy, and reliability best practices, especially for healthcare data.\nActively contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standards.\nUse modern developer tooling, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, reliability, and maintainability.\n\nRequirements: \n4-7 years of professional software engineering experience.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript.\nSolid experience with: React.js and modern frontend patterns, Node.js and RESTful API design.\nExperience working with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).\nStrong understanding of: Software design principles, performance optimisation.
