Our development programs are also delivering thousands of new rental homes and apartments as part of our commitment to help solve the housing supply shortage.\nJob Description\nThe Superintendent is responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing project plans and schedules for all vacant homes within a designated portfolio. This role involves overseeing both in-house technicians and external vendors, resolving project issues, and ensuring quality control for all rehabilitation and turn projects. The Superintendent reports progress and issues to senior management, mentors team members, and ensures that all projects meet company standards.Must have a valid drivers license.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additionalduties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.\nCreate, maintain, and manage project plans and schedules for rehabilitation and turn work for all vacant homes in designated portfolio\n\nAnticipate and resolve project issues and schedule difficulties, escalating when necessary\n\nDirect and oversee the work performed by both in house technicians and external vendor resources\n\nMaintain accurate and current records of all rehabilitation and turn projects\n\nActively report project issues, delays, status updates and completion to Senior Supervisor\n\nProactively participate (with current and accurate information) in weekly status meetings\n\nDevelop scope of work project plans for rehabilitation projects\n\nDevelop scope of work project plans for all turns\n\nMentor and inspire direct reports by setting expectations, consistent communication, and one-on-one development\n\nAct with integrity and demonstrate support for Tricon's values and employees\n\nConduct quality control inspections on all field work in progress\n\nComplete initial close out for all turn and rehabilitation projects ensuring that they meet Tricon quality standards\n\nQualifications:\nTakes ownership of work product and delivers within tight deadlines\nAbility to work well under pressure, self-manage, and set an example for others\nExperience managing complex projects through to successful completion\nTrack record of building respectful relationships with both internal and external team members, vendors, direct reports, leadership, etc\nPassionate problem solver who is proactive, reliable, and resourceful\nTrack record of fostering a collaborative team environment\nMinimum Requirements:\nValid drivers license\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalency\nExcellent Communicator, both verbal and written\nUnrelenting attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and consistency\nAbility to build effective relationships with a wide range of people\nStrong presentation skills\nPreferred Attributes:\nKnowledge of Yardi accounting platform a major plus\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, including:\nFrequently required to sit, talk, and hear.\nRegularly required to stand and move; use hands to grasp, squeeze, finger, handle, and feel; reach, push, and pull with hands and arms; twist; reach overhead; stoop, kneel, squat, bend, and crouch.\nRegularly required to climb and descend stairs and ladders.\nRegularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.\nVision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.\nIf driving a company-provided vehicle: coordinate hands and feet, incorporating vision and hearing, to drive safely.\nSalary Range\nPlacement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.\n$68,250.00 - $113,750.00At Tricon, we are committed to creating a workplace where every individual is valued for their unique contributions, experiences, voices, and backgrounds.
