Performs biochemical identification procedures as necessary and record MIC results. \nFollows all safety protocols as outlines in safety manual.\nIdentifies and pursues self improvement needs.\nSeeks coaching/mentoring when appropriate.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nCompliance Responsibilities\nParticipates in required orientation, Compliance and HIPAA training programs.\nCooperates with monitoring and audit functions and investigations.\nParticipates, as requested, in process improvement responsibilities.\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nCore Competencies/Skill Sets\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDetail oriented and organizational skills.\nExercises accuracy and precision in completion of prescribed tasks and treatments.\nProfessional Experience/Educational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree or MT (ASCP or equivalent preferred); Associates degree with MLT\nMinimum of one (1) year experience in the area of Microbiology.\nSome computer experience required.\nCertification/Licensure\nMust qualify as a clinical laboratory technologist under CLIA regulations.\nBenefits:\nTridentCare offers a competitive wage and robust benefit package to full time employees.
