They are responsible for monitoring the phlebotomy area and the Mobile Phlebotomists' to ensure that all applicable policies and procedures are followed.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCommunicates promptly and efficiently with management and Territory Managers regarding client questions, concerns, and complaints.\nEnsures that phlebotomy supply and specimen drop off area is always neat and organized.\nMonitor phlebotomy supplies and prepare order for management approval as necessary.\nMaintains current and accurate contact information for Mobile Phlebotomists.\nMaintains accurate attendance records for Mobile Phlebotomists.\nAssists with hiring process.\nAssists with New Hire Orientation and Onboarding.\nCovers Mobile Phlebotomists' responsibilities when needed.\nWorks with team to minimize problem requisitions.\nPerforms scheduling of Mobile Phlebotomists, including accurate and current scheduling.\nUpdate information for new and terminated facilities.\nSeeks coaching and mentoring when appropriate.\nAdheres to all applicable policies and procedures.\nCompletes special projects as assigned by management.\nAssists in compiling performance reviews as policy outlines.\nFollow up on all post exposure, employee & client paperwork, source specimen testing, notifications.\nHolds monthly meetings with Mobile Phlebotomy staff\nFollow up on urgent concerns from Mobile Phlebotomist in a timely manner and reports all issues to management.\nMaintains procedure manual and makes changes as approved by management.\nPerforms all duties in compliance with established safety and OSHA guidelines.\nAdheres to established HIPAA confidentiality standards of patient, client, facilities and TridentCare staff.\nMonitor vehicles maintenance and cleanliness\nPerforms all other tasks or duties as assigned\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nPractices excellent communication and interaction skills specific to the population served, including the pediatric and geriatric communities.\nTreats customers and patients with respect, dignity, and discretion; acknowledging residents’ rights and patients’ right to refuse\nProficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques\nKnowledge of laboratory operations\nMaintains sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination\nKnowledge of medical laboratory operations.\nProficient in phlebotomy procedures, techniques and skills\nProficient in written/verbal skills in English language.\nAbility to follow written and verbal orders.\nAbility to maintain effective working relationship with patients, clients and management.\nAbility to take direction and conduct self in a professional manner.\nProficient in computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing and Microsoft Office.\nStrong organizational skills, an ability to prioritize task, and meet deadlines established.\nMust have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if applicable)\nMust have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record\nMust have a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
