The intern will work closely with the AI and Digital Transformation team to support practical AI use cases, data analysis, research, and experimentation in a fast-paced advisory environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the development, testing, and refinement of AI and natural language processing tools for research, analysis, and communications-related use cases.\nAssist with collecting, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.\nHelp identify patterns, insights, and opportunities that can support client work and internal innovation.\nConduct research on emerging AI tools, digital transformation trends, and relevant applications across communications, public affairs, and advisory work.\nSupport the preparation of presentations, summaries, reports, and visual outputs that communicate technical insights in a clear and practical way.\nCollaborate with team members to test AI models, evaluate outputs, and document findings, recommendations, and potential improvements.\nContribute to internal knowledge sharing by tracking new technologies, tools, and use cases relevant to APCO’s work.\nRequirements\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.\nStrong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and digital transformation.\nWorking knowledge of Python and familiarity with common data analysis or machine learning libraries is preferred.\nAbility to work with data, conduct research, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCurious, proactive, and comfortable experimenting with new tools and technologies.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.\nCareers at APCO\nThrough our recruitment, hiring and retention efforts, APCO is committed to building teams to bring the best possible expertise and robust perspectives to our clients.
