The role acts as the primary technical interface between customers, sales teams, and Trillium Pumps Italy during pre-order and bid execution stages.\nThe incumbent will review customer specifications, perform hydraulic and mechanical evaluations, develop technical proposals, ensure compliance with API, Saudi Aramco, and international standards, and support successful order acquisition for strategic projects across the oil & gas, petrochemical, water, power, and industrial sectors.\nKey Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities\nTechnical Application Engineering\nReview RFQs, customer specifications, data sheets, and project requirements.\nPerform pump sizing and hydraulic selection using approved engineering tools.\nEvaluate operating conditions, NPSH requirements, efficiency, and system performance.\nSelect appropriate pump configurations, materials, seals, bearings, and auxiliary systems.\nPrepare technical deviations, clarifications, and compliance matrices.\nEnsure compliance with API 610, API 682, Saudi Aramco specifications, and customer requirements.\nSupport engineering reviews associated with centrifugal pump packages and related rotating equipment.\nProposal & Commercial Support\nPrepare technical and commercial quotations within required deadlines.\nDevelop cost estimates and coordinate pricing activities with internal departments.\nParticipate in technical bid evaluations and customer clarification meetings.\nSupport sales teams during customer presentations and project discussions.\nAssist in negotiation of technical aspects of contracts prior to award.\nProject & Customer Interface\nServe as the technical focal point for customers during the bidding phase.\nCoordinate with Trillium Pumps Italy engineering teams on complex applications.\nAttend customer meetings, kick-off meetings, and technical review sessions.\nProvide timely responses to customer technical queries.\nBuild strong working relationships with Saudi Aramco, EPC contractors, consultants, and end users.\nContinuous Improvement\nMaintain application engineering databases and selection records.\nMonitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor technologies.\nContribute to standardization and optimization of quoting processes.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to increase quotation accuracy and response times.\nQuality, HSE & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with Company HSE policies and quality management systems.\nPromote a culture of safety, integrity, and technical excellence.\nSupport ISO, API, and customer audit requirements when necessary.\nEducation\nEssential\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nPreferred\nMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Rotating Equipment Engineering.\nExperience\nEssential\nMinimum 8-10 years of experience in pump application engineering, rotating equipment, or OEM engineering.\nMinimum 5 years of direct experience with centrifugal pumps and API 610 equipment.\nExperience supporting Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SWCC, SEC, or major EPC projects.\nProven experience in technical bid preparation and execution of OE projects.\nPreferred\nExperience with multinational pump OEMs.\nExperience coordinating with overseas engineering centers and manufacturing facilities.\nTechnical Competencies\nAPI 610 Centrifugal
