Working within a SAFe/Agile environment, this individual will provide technical leadership and collaborate with VA stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Knowledge of federal financial management, accounting, and related business processes is a plus.\nPlease note, this position is contingent upon customer approval for the role, expected October/November 2026.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, and declarative configuration.\n\nBuild and maintain secure enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft, supporting data migration, synchronization, and validation.\n\nConfigure and extend Agentforce agents, Einstein AI capabilities, and Prompt Builder templates using approved enterprise data and workflows.\n\nApply platform security, access controls, AI safeguards, testing, monitoring, and human oversight to support reliable and auditable operations.\n\nManage deployments through Copado and approved CI/CD pipelines; perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\n\nTranslate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while participating in SAFe/Agile planning and delivery.\n\nMentor developers and coordinate with Product Owners, architects, administrators, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\nFive or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.\n\nSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications.\n\nStrong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, data modeling, and platform security.\n\nExperience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using APIs and MuleSoft.\n\nPractical experience configuring or extending Agentforce agents, developing prompts and custom actions, and testing AI workflows leveraging Einstein AI and Prompt Builder.\n\nExperience with Copado, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, debugging, and Agile delivery.\n\nStrong written and oral communication, technical leadership, and independent problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nVA or other federal government experience, particularly supporting financial management, accounting, budgeting, or related business processes.\n\nExperience with Salesforce Data 360, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI governance in regulated environments.\n\nSalesforce Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud/Data 360, Copado, or Salesforce Architect credentials.\n\nFamiliarity with SAFe, Git, Salesforce CLI, and approved AI-assisted development tools.\n\nFamiliarity with federal security
