If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and want your work to have purpose and scale, this role is built for you.\nThis rolerequires at least a Secret Security Clearance, and primary work location is remote.\nOn-Call Expectations\nTo support critical system needs, this role participates in a rotating on-call schedule for one week out of every four. During your on-call week, you’ll be part of a responsive support team that helps ensure system reliability and continuity.\nAcknowledge on-call contacts (phone, text, or email) within 15 minutes\nRemain within reasonable access to your secure work laptop while on call\nLog in and begin assessing or troubleshooting requests within 60 minutes of notification\nThe on-call rotation is structured to provide balance while ensuring our federal partners receive timely, dependable support when it matters most.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs.\nDevelop microservices in a cloud native environment.\nOperates an enterprise scale production system. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves system issues.\nAnalyze user needs to develop robust software solutions aligned with business and mission goals.\nAnalyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.\nApplies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis, and distributed system design.\nParticipate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring of junior developers to promote engineering excellence.\nCollaborate with cross functional teams including DevOps, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture. \nHigh-level objectives include, but are not limited to the following:\nMigrate all current-system functionality from the mainframes and operate within a cloud-based environment (AWS GovCloud)\nTransition investigative search capabilities to Elasticsearch or similar technologies to improve speed and analytical capabilities for law enforcement users.\nBuild new microservices using OpenShift based container platforms following scalable, cloud native patterns.\nImplement full stack components where applicable, supporting UI integration layers using modern JavaScript frameworks.\nSupport integration with event driven architectures and high throughput data processing systems.\nWhat you bring:\nWe require:\nBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience or Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.\nActive Tier 3 Secret clearance (or higher).\nStrong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented.\nExperience developing microservices, REST APIs, and cloud native applications.\nHands on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and automated deployments.\nExperience designing, developing, and operating solutions in AWS or other cloud platforms.\nExperience with event driven architectures and two or more of the following:Apache Kafka\nPub/Sub patterns\nStreaming\nEvent sourcing\n\nExperience operating within GitOps practices (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, etc.). \nExperience working within Agile frameworks, including participation in Scrum/SAFe ceremonies.\nFamiliarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). \nNice to have:\nDemonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude and a commitment to team success\nTake pride in delivering high-quality, reliable software that supports a mission-critical system\nDemonstrate accountability for assigned work and shared team outcomes\nEngage constructively in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions \nMaintain a strong work ethic, professionalism, and respect for teammates, stakeholders, and mission priorities\nAdapts to change and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset\nWork Environment: Remote with occasional travel as required.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nSalary range: $84,000 - $87,000\nCompetitive salary based on experience\nPerformance bonus eligibility\n401k with company match\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nLife and disability insurance\nHealth Savings Account\nProfessional development programs\nEmployee referral bonus program\nWhy Trilogy Innovations\nAt Trilogy Innovations, we believe strong teams build meaningful solutions.
