With expertise spanning civil/site engineering, environmental permitting, transportation infrastructure, construction management, and advanced surveying technologies, we are committed to delivering high-quality, timely solutions to local, state, and federal clients.\nResponsibilities\nEngineering Design & Drafting\nAssist in the planning, design, and drafting of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including water mains, sanitary sewers, pump stations, and related appurtenances.\nPrepare plans, profiles, details, and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.\nPermitting & Regulatory Support\nSupport the preparation and submission of permit applications and technical documents to local, state, and federal agencies (e.g., NJDEP).\nEnsure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nProject Collaboration\nWork closely with project managers, senior engineers, surveyors, and other disciplines to support project delivery from concept through construction.\nParticipate in coordination meetings and assist with responding to agency and client comments.\nTechnical Documentation\nPrepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, feasibility studies, and design calculations to support project planning and execution.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience\n0-2 years of relevant engineering experience; internship or co-op experience in water, wastewater, or municipal engineering is a plus.\nTechnical Skills\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with hydraulic software is a plus.\nLicensure\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure is not required but encouraged in the future for growth.\nCore Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication abilities.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-based environment.\nBenefits\nThe base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting.
