This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong writing and technical skills to excel in a team environment.\nWhat you will lead:\nConduct field investigations, including wetland delineations and assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, and ecological monitoring\nPrepare permit applications, such as environmental resource permits, Section 404 and 408 permits, and local agency natural resource permits\nPrepare NEPA documentation and review NEPA documents\nPerform environmental monitoring and inspections\nWork with engineering team members to identify and resolve transportation project challenges\nUse ArcGIS Pro for data collection, analysis, and compilation of data and exhibits for reports\nCoordinate and communicate with internal and external project team members, clients, and regulators\nAssist the firm in other capacities as needed, such as public involvement activities\nSupport client marketing and business development efforts\nField Duties\nAssist with field sampling and assessment\nCollect data and operate field equipment associated with environmental permitting projects\nParticipate in threatened and endangered species surveys\nLead field sampling and assessment efforts as assigned\n Office Duties\nAnalyze and manage data\nWrite reports\nPrepare permit documentation\nPrepare and review NEPA documentation\nCoordinate with project team members, clients, and regulators\nSupport marketing efforts\nWhat you bring:\nB.S. degree in Science (Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Biology) or a related field\n3-8 years of professional experience in environmental science, biology, natural resource management, planning, or a related field.
