Our talented staff of more than 650+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions.\nDue to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an Environmental Scientist I to assist with our projects in Waynesburg PA!\nKey Responsibilities\nThis is an entry level position consisting predominately of the following tasks:\nField data collection and processing.\nQuality control, organization, and analysis of these data. \nPosition requires significant outdoor work in all manner of weather. \nWeekend and occasional holiday work required based upon project needs.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nExperience with the following is preferred:\nField data collection, documentation, analysis, and reporting.\nMap reading, GPS, navigation, and GIS data collection and processing. \nAquatic sampling procedures including stream velocity measurement, benthic macroinvertebrate sampling, and wetland delineation.\nThe successful candidate will possess a strong preference for working in an outdoor setting regardless of the weather conditions.\nBenefits\nThe base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting.
