We need a technical leader who can work alongside engineering teams, make pragmatic design decisions, solve complex problems, and help turn our vision into working capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlatform Architecture: Define and evolve the overall architecture of the Trilon Digital Platform, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and flexibility. \nShared Services: Design reusable platform capabilities, including identity and access management, APIs, notifications, workflow orchestration, and common application services. \nCloud & Engineering: Establish modern cloud-native architecture, engineering standards, CI/CD practices, observability, and deployment patterns. \nEnterprise Integration: Design integration patterns connecting enterprise systems, engineering applications, and digital products across Trilon firms. \nData Architecture Collaboration: Partner with data engineering and the Data Architect to enable secure, consistent access to enterprise data through shared services and APIs. \nAI Enablement: Define reusable architecture and services for integrating generative AI, AI agents, and intelligent automation into digital products. \nTechnical Leadership: Work hands-on with engineering teams on solution design, architecture reviews, technical decisions, and complex implementation challenges. \nArchitecture Roadmap: Develop an incremental architecture roadmap that balances immediate product delivery with long-term platform scalability. \nSecurity & Reliability: Partner with IT and Security to ensure enterprise-grade security, access controls, monitoring, and operational readiness. \nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. \n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n10+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in platform architecture, distributed systems, or enterprise software. \nProven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale SaaS platforms or cloud-native applications. \nExperience integrating platforms such as Autodesk, Esri ArcGIS, Bentley, Deltek Vantagepoint, or enterprise content management systems. \nFamiliarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, event streaming, and modern integration frameworks. \nDeep understanding of cloud services, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability. \nExperience designing secure enterprise integrations across multiple systems and data sources. \nFamiliarity with modern data architectures, including data lakes, lakehouses, data pipelines, and API-based data access. \nWorking knowledge of AI/ML application architecture, including LLM integration, RAG, vector search, and AI orchestration. \nStrong understanding of security architecture, identity and access management, authorization, and enterprise data protection. \n\nAbout Trilon\nTrilon was formed with the vision of building the next Top 20 infrastructure consulting firm in North America by bringing together some of the nation’s best infrastructure consulting firms, focused on delivering practical and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
