We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Tempe, Arizona office.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDevelop engineering designs and technical documents for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.\nManage multiple engineering assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.\nCoordinate with CAD designers, electrical and structural engineers, subconsultants, and other project team members throughout project delivery.\nReview engineering calculations, shop drawings, RFIs, equipment submittals, and O&M manuals.\nConduct site visits to verify existing conditions, collect field information, and coordinate with clients and operations staff.\nPrepare technical reports, engineering calculations, figures, specifications, permit applications, and supporting project documentation.\nAssist in developing project scopes, schedules, staffing plans, and engineering budgets.\nCoordinate project deliverables to support quality assurance and timely client submittals.\nWork closely with Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers to successfully deliver projects.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level engineers and interns.\nCollaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative engineering solutions.\nSupport risk management, proposal development, and contract review activities as experience grows.\nMaintain strong relationships with clients while providing responsive technical support throughout project delivery.\n\nRequirements\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of engineering experience.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.\nExperience with municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects preferred.\nWorking knowledge of applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulations.\nStrong technical writing and communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and common engineering software.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills\n Preferred Experience\nWater treatment facilities\nWastewater treatment facilities\nWater distribution systems\nWastewater collection systems\nPump stations\nHydraulic modeling\nDesign reports and technical memoranda\nConstruction administration and field coordination\nBenefits\nThe comprehensive benefits plan offered by Wilson Engineers exceeds industry standards, and is aimed at meeting each employee's personal and professional expectations.
