independently. \nPrepare and revise documentation across various project phases. \nManage and execute mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple projects in a dynamic work environment. \nDevelop project scope, budgets, and design approaches for projects of varying complexity. \nReview equipment data sheets for compliance with project requirements, evaluate contractor submittals, and advise on potential impacts to scope, schedule, and budget. \nConduct quality assurance and control on personal and peer projects. \nAssist in creating new standards and specifications for the mechanical engineering group. \nMaintain knowledge of industry trends and recommend changes to approaches and client services as needed. \nParticipate in client/vendor/contractor project requirement meetings, value analysis sessions, and cost estimating activities. \nLead the preparation and coordination of project specifications and related documents. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \n\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nProficiency in mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools. \nStrong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and design principles. \nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data. \nProficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek \nVantagePoint and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms. \nProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, energy/load simulation software. \n Strong project management and organizational skills. \nAbility to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgement. \nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills. \nAbility to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets. \nFlexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines. \nDetail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated. \nValid stated-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record. \n\n Education and Experience:\nLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida or ability to attain reciprocity. \nMinimum of 7+ years of mechanical engineering and design experience, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Boilers, Chillers, and Central Heating (CH) systems.
