Waggoner differentiates itself as a leader in growth strategy for water and disaster recovery, as well as providing full engineering services across 14 offices and 5 states; we need people who are inspired for future growth, engage as leaders in their respective fields, and deliver to both internal and external clients.\nIf you are tired of hearing “we’ve always done it this way”; if you have a work hard/play hard attitude; and if you enjoy working with a vast team of professionals across various disciplines, you will fit right into our culture.\nYour Primary Responsibilities will include\nPerforms engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for a variety of projects that may include:Roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation.\nWaterdistribution systems and sanitary sewer collection system\nHydraulic modeling\nPump station modeling and analysis\nWater and wastewater treatment\n\nLead a small team of junior engineers\nPrepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.\nConducts assessment and evaluation of existing system conditions and develops recommended remedial measures.\nPerforms construction phase engineering, including periodic on-site reviews, in collaboration with Construction Services team.\nMaintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.\nConducts project status review with project manager and team members, checking accuracy of work completed, and monitors timeliness of project completion.\nPrepares engineering studies and reports.\nProvides technical guidance and training to members of the project team.\nPrepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.\nAssists Project Manager in assuring quality control procedures are performed.\nMaintains responsibility for adherence to applicable codes.\n\nWhat you'll need\nLicensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure as a PE in other states where Waggoner practices, within 90 days.\n6+ years of related engineering and design experience\nCertifications applicable to civil engineering\nKnowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of engineering and the implementation of public works infrastructure projects.\nProficient in design using MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak and Open Roads, and other DOT approved software.\nAdvanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.\n\nWhy Join Our Team\nAbout Waggoner\n\n Waggoner is a multidisciplinary infrastructure and advisory firm focused on transforming communities and advancing the systems that support them.
