We encourage our teams to connect on multiple levels and support each other’s personal and professional growth.\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a Structural Engineer, we promote a team environment, so you’ll work with fellow engineers, environmental scientists and many others. You’ll also:\nProvide structural engineering and design services for a variety of projects. \nActively develop and grow the structural engineering team. \nProvide technical leadership on multidisciplinary projects and support client relationships. \nDevelop project scopes, budgets and structural designs while delivering projects on schedule and within budget. \n\nWhat it takes\nIdeally, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You should have seven to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licensures. Ideally, you’ll also:\nKnow construction methods and materials and code requirements. \nKnow how to develop design and construction plans. \nUse structural engineering software. \nSpeak and write well. \nHave strong analytical and organizational skills. \nBe a team player. \n\nWhat you’ll get\nYou’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
