This newly created position supports increasing project demand and expands our project management capacity across a range of site/civil engineering and land development projects for public and private clients, which require multi-disciplinary consultant teams including, multi-family housing, higher-ed and K-12 education, commercial, industrial, brownfields redevelopment, municipal parks and recreation, stormwater retrofit, and mixed-use.\n\nThis role is well suited for a licensed civil engineer with strong site design experience who enjoys leading projects from concept through permitting and construction support. The Project Manager will oversee technical design, manage schedules and budgets, mentor staff, and work directly with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to deliver high-quality projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nManaging site/civil engineering projects from initial scoping through design, permitting, and construction support\nDeveloping project scopes, contracts, schedules, and budget\nOverseeing and mentoring engineering staff and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in the areas of land development, stormwater management, and climate/flood resiliency \nPreparing and reviewing site designs including layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment control, and site details\nDesigning stormwater management systems\nCoordinating with municipal staff and attending Town/City public meetings\nParticipating in field meetings and site visits\nAssisting with report preparation and local/state permit applications\nSupporting business development efforts and maintaining strong client relationships\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred\n8+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience with strong site design skills\nPrior project management experience including contracts, QA/QC, scheduling, and staff oversight\nVermont Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred\nExperience with local and state permitting requirements\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExperience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required; HydroCAD preferred\nTravel to client sites, and attendance at town and city public meetings\n\nThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
