You’ll join a team that values professional development, collaboration and the opportunity to make an impact.\n\nGO BEYOND THE JOB AD: Ignite your passion and learn more about what we do.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n You’ll lead the East Peoria office with responsibility for people, clients, projects and business performance. You’ll:\nOversee day-to-day branch operations and support the people who work in East Peoria.\nWork with other managers, senior leaders and marketing to identify market and client opportunities and develop business development strategies.\nBuild trusted relationships with clients and prospective clients, including key decision-makers and influencers.\nManage projects from contract through completion, keeping scope, schedule, budget and invoicing on track.\nPrepare client contracts, statements of qualifications and fee proposals.\nUnderstand client needs, help solve complex problems and identify ways Fehr Graham can add value.\nLead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate resources across the firm to meet client needs.\nMonitor branch and project performance, including net revenue, profitability and write-offs.\nCommunicate technical and business issues clearly with clients and colleagues.\nStay current on market, client and technology trends and share relevant information with the team.\nRepresent Fehr Graham at client meetings, presentations, community events and industry events.\nRecruit, coach, mentor and develop staff.\nWhat it takes\n You’ll be a strong fit if you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least eight years of experience in staff supervision, client relations, business development or project management. You’ll also bring:\nExperience in the consulting industry.\nA track record of successfully managing projects and people.\nExperience building and maintaining strong client relationships.\nA strong understanding of federal, state and local regulations related to engineering projects.\nThe ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.\nThe ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with clients and coworkers.\nA genuine interest in coaching, mentoring and developing staff.\nA professional license in your discipline is preferred.\n\nWhat you’ll get\n You’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
