Structural Engineering - Fehr Graham\nWhat you’ll do\n As the Lead Structural Engineer, we promote a team environment, so you’ll work with fellow engineers, environmental scientists and many others. You’ll also:\nProvide bridge inspection and design services.\nActively lead, develop and grow the structural engineering team.\nBe familiar with structural components. \nWork cross functionally with the Transportation team on projects.\nWhat it takes\n Ideally, you’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You should have 7 to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures. You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licensures. Ideally, you’ll also:\nKnow construction methods and materials and code requirements.\nKnow how to develop design and construction plans.\nUse structural engineering software.\nSpeak and write well.\nHave strong analytical and organizational skills.\nBe a team player.\nWhat you’ll get\n You’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
