If you enjoy collaborating with talented professionals, tackling interesting engineering challenges, and making an impact both on projects and within your team, you'll fit right in at MSG.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork on the electrical design and coordination of various projects, involving industrial, municipal projects with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment plant related buildings, industrial facilities, and associated electrical systems, as well as the analysis of existing facilities\nEstablish design criteria, perform design calculations, develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans and specifications\nReview manufacturer information to assure compliance with specifications\nAssist and increase involvement with cost estimating, code review, field investigation, report and memo writing and other similar electrical engineering related tasks\nProvide engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings and responding to contractor RFI’s (request for information)\nProvide technical leadership by planning and delegating project work, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting their professional growth and development\nOther duties as assigned\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology, or a closely related field of study\nPE or ability to obtain PE within one (1) year from date of hire\n10+ years of experience in electrical engineering\nStrong understanding and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)\nExperience with photometrics\nStrong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application to electrical system design, analysis, nad compliance\nExperience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or other power systems analysis software \nThe ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and the ability to work productively independently and as a member of a highly efficient team\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide junior staff and engage effectively with stakeholders\n\nBenefits\n401(k) w/ company match\nHealth insurance w/ HSA option, Vision, Dental, Life\nFlexible schedule\nPaid time off\nReferral program\nTuition reimbursement\n Catalytic Coaching - Employees draft a development plan aimed at improving contributions in their current job and increasing the potential for other opportunities.
