We are looking for candidates who want to join us on our journey!\nReporting to the Dispatch Manager, the Dispatcher will be responsible for communicating the load plan to drivers and customers while also ensuring that all customer requirements are met. An eye for detail is key to the success of someone stepping into this role!\nWho You Are\nGood judgment, and strong operational focus;\nA decisive individual who possesses a \"big picture\" perspective, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.\nIdentifies and resolves problems proactively and in a timely manner.\nLook for ways to improve and promote safety, quality, and profitability.An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills\nResponsibilities\nThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:\nResponsible for communicating the load plan to drivers and customers.\nEnsure the drivers have the proper instructions to perform their duties safely.\nListen to all driver concerns and act on them appropriately.\nSupport Daily Operations through Dispatch assist -coordinating equipment and freight movements, troubleshooting driver and terminal issues, and maintaining up-to-date dispatch screens-and utilizes the TMW system to schedule loads, log customer orders, monitor driver status, and ensure accurate, compliant communication of load details. \nEnsure the Company meets all customer requirements, and any changes are communicated immediately.\nEnsure the dispatch system is up to date.\nWork hand in hand with the Load Planners where applicable. \nIdentify opportunities to increase efficiency for both the Company and the customer.\nEnsure trailer interior washes are completed where required.\nEnsure all orders and trip events are recorded in the TMW in an accurate and timely fashion.\nWhere applicable ensure that invoicing and driver pay are completed daily.\nWhere applicable audit TMW reports for compliance requirements.\nService failure reports are recorded in TMW and brought to the attention of the Branch Manager or designate.\nEnsure that the driver has adequate time to perform his duties safely and within the Hours of Work regulations.\nEnsure all drivers and equipment meet regulatory and corporate compliance.\nAssign the proper equipment for the jurisdiction and the job requirements.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma.\n2-3 years of related experience and/or training or Logistic graduate. -or Logistics Graduate \nExperience in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience using a variety of systems.\nExperience in the transportation industry.\nPost-secondary education is considered an asset. \nExperience in bulk and/or hazardous commodities an asset.\nExperience with TMW.\nBenefits\nWe invest in our employee’s growth through training and development programs.
