The Accounting Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: \nFinancial Record-Keeping:\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.\nProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.\nReconcile bank statements and other financial documents.\nData Entry and Analysis:\nEnter financial data into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy.\nAssist in the analysis of financial data and preparation of reports.\nInvoice Processing:\nProcess and verify invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies.\nCommunicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice discrepancies.\nExpense Management:\nReconcile employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.\nAssist in monitoring and controlling expenses.\nMonth-End Closing:\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.\nPrepare and post journal entries as needed.\nCommunication:\nCollaborate with team members and other departments to address financial-related inquiries.\nProvide support during internal and external audits.\nCompliance:\nEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.\nStay informed about changes in accounting principles and regulations.\nAdministrative Support:\nProvide administrative support to the finance team as needed.\nAssist in special projects and initiatives as assigned.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\nAnalytical Skills:\nDemonstrate strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data accurately.\nIdentify trends, variances, and anomalies, providing insights for informed decision-making.\nProficient in conducting financial analysis and generating relevant reports.\nAttention to Detail:\nDisplay a high level of accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping.\nThoroughly review and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.\nDetect and rectify discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure data integrity.\nCollaboration and Communication:\nEffectively communicate with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.\nClearly articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:\n0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, or equivalent Military or practical experience.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.\nProficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software.\nAbility to successfully pass a background check post offer
