This role also involves collaborating with other trades, managing tools and supplies, and ensuring adherence to safety and project guidelines.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: \nInstallation and Maintenance:\nInstall, maintain, and conduct minor repairs on foodservice equipment.\nExamine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning.\nCollaboration and Coordination:\nCollaborate with plumbers/electricians and all mechanical trades to resolve issues and stay within the timeframe and install bid.\nAssist on-site workers with tasks.\nTransfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas.\nEquipment Handling and Assembly:\nUnload vehicles using a forklift or a lift-gated truck.\nDisassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete.\nOrder new parts to maintain inventory.\nInstall or replace equipment using hand or power tools.\nTool and Equipment Management:\nHold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers.\nAdjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines.\nSafety and Organization:\nFollow all safety guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and keep tools and machines organized.\nMust successfully pass and maintain a D.O.T. medical exam.\nComprehend all Company safety requirements as well as jobsite safety.\nDocumentation and Communication:\nPerform other related duties as required and assigned.\nSubmit accurate and timely documentation of work performed.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\nMust successfully pass and maintain a D.O.T. medical exam.\nComprehend all Company safety requirements as well as jobsite safety.\nAbility to read and understand specs and blueprints.\nAbility to follow close direction from Project Managers, job Consultants, and job Superintendents.\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAbility to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.\nMust be highly motivated and able to work independently.\nSome weekends and overtime required.\nAbility to travel.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:\n0 – 1 years of experience in a similar role, or a willingness to learn and be trained on the job, or equivalent military or practical experience.\nTechnical knowledge and skills pertaining to foodservice equipment/machines.\nKnowledge of handling and use of all hand tools and power tools.\nSuccessful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School preferred.\nEPA certifications of Level 1 & 2 minimum;
