The Warehouse Lead provides leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, coordinates workflow, and ensures adherence to safety protocols and company policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: \nTeam Leadership:\nLead and supervise warehouse staff, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.\nAssign tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.\nInventory Management:\nOversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with inventory control procedures.\nPerform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).\nOrder Fulfillment:\nCoordinate order picking, packing, and shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.\nMonitor order status, prioritize orders based on urgency, and communicate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines.\nSafety and Compliance:\nEnforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies related to warehouse operations.\nEquipment Maintenance:\nEnsure proper maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.\nCoordinate repairs and maintenance activities as needed to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.\n\nCOMPETENCIES:\nStrong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve goals and objectives.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control principles, and safety regulations.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or GED, or equivalent military or practical experience.\n3 – 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with demonstrated leadership experience.\nExperience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.\nKnowledge of inventory management principles and practices.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.\nAbility to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: \nAbility to lift 50 pounds. \nBend or twist body. \nUse hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools. or
