Working in an agile development environment, the SDET will develop and apply customized testing methodologies to show measurable improvements to the released software. In addition, this person is responsible for automating manual test cases and workflows to accelerate our testing and release cycles.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nWhat You Will Do\nImplement and maintain automation scripts\nContinuously evaluate and improve defined software processes\nPlan, schedule, and implement testing projects\nDesign and develop quality testing procedures; update and modify existing tests as necessary \nDefine test objectives and collaborate with the QA Team and other departments to achieve project goals\nPerform moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing; participate in manual testing efforts where applicable\nDefine and adhere to quality initiatives\nProvide metrics and results from all testing efforts that will support business decisions related to the quality of the Trimble Projectsight Software\nEvangelize new automation techniques and best practices to QA team members\nWhat Skills & Experience You Should Bring\nWillingness and ability to quickly adapt and maintain software products and current testing technologies \nAbility to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules \nStrong initiative, customer-service oriented, and commitment to insure timely, quality solutions to customer issues\nWell-organized team player.
