We share in a common purpose of serving customers, patients, communities and each other with equal measures of caring and performance.\nTRIMEDX OFFERS:\nTuition reimbursement\n\nOngoing training and education\n\nGrowth and promotional opportunities\n\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K\n\nJob opportunities available on a national level\n\nInternational volunteer opportunities through the TRIMEDX Foundation\n\nPositive and meaningful work in a professional healthcare environment\n\nSkills and Experience\nMinimum 5 years experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical sterilization and decontamination equipment.\nAC/DC electrical knowledge required, must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.\nPlumbing knowledge required, must be able to read and understand piping diagrams and identify basic plumbing components.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical motor circuits, internal steam generators, pneumatic systems, automatic transfer systems, and loading/unloading systems. \nSweat copper pipe, create flare and swage connections.\nUse and understand the operation of a digital multi-meter and amp meter.\nPerform temperature and pressure calibrations on sterilization and decontamination equipment.\nAbility to verbally explain the difference between gravity, pre-vacuum, and liquid sterilization cycles; what a biological indicator is and how it is used; what a sterilization integrater is and how it is used; and the instrument flow of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD).\nAbility to integrate information from a variety of sources. \nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nEducation and Qualifications\nAssociates degree in a technical/electronics field, equivalent military training, or relevant experience required (2+ years).\nRoutinely employ fine motor skills during the installation, servicing, and maintaining of sterilization and decontamination equipment.\nBend, crouch, kneel, climb, balance, or otherwise maneuver body while servicing and repairing sterilization and decontamination equipment.\nOperate tools/machinery that use hand and/or foot controls (e.g. drills, saws, electronic test equipment, etc.) when servicing medical equipment.\nLift, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 lbs. while working with sterilization and decontamination equipment.\nValid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site or region that may require use of personal vehicle.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications required.\nFor more information, visitwww.trimedx.com/careers\nCheck out what our current associates & your future teammates are up to on our Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitterpages!\nAt Trimedx, we are committed to cultivating a workplace culture where every associate feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
