This role will serve as the backbone of IT operations, managing the full spectrum responsibilities within the office of IT while ensuring seamless collaboration between business and technical leadership. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business operations, financial planning, vendor management, workforce planning, and executive reporting to optimize IT delivery, performance, and organizational effectiveness.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop workforce plans, staffing and utilization models, and resource forecasts aligned with IT priorities\nMonitor capacity, utilization, productivity, and organizational health across infrastructure, architecture, engineering, and service delivery\nDefine IT KPIs and delivery dashboards, reports, and actionable insights on performance and operational health. Identify trends and assist with implementing process improvements\nSupport budgeting and financial forecasting for IT operations and capital investments\nOversee the technology book of work, resources, dependencies, risks, and conflicts\nAssist with IT vendor relationship management; contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews\nAnalyze vendor spend, prepare for renewals, and identify cost-optimization opportunities\nCollaborate with the extended technology leadership team to mature operational practices\nStrengthen technology employee engagement and satisfaction\nRequirements:\n7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, business operations, or technology management\nBachelors degree required\nExperience supporting CIOs, CTOs, or other senior leaders on strategic and operational initiatives\nExpertise in technology workforce planning, staffing models, and organizational management\nProven results with third party contracts, vendor relationships, and expense management\nAdvanced proficiency in business analytics, data visualization, reporting tools, and performance measurement\nStrong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse stakeholders\nRecord of leading successful organizational transformation or operational improvements\nAbility to collaborate effectively with business and technology leaders at all levels\nExperience in large-scale IT organizations with complex, multi-service portfolios preferred\nProficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise operations platforms preferred\nKnowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices preferred\nTrimont is an equal opportunity employer, and we’re proud to support and celebrate diversity in the workplace.
