You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.\nJOB SUMMARY\nThe Procurement Senior Manager will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for critical indirect spend categories, with primary focus on IT, Professional Services, Contingent Labour, Marketing and Facilities. Operating within a highly regulated PEO/ASO/HR Services environment, this role partners closely with business functions to translate requirements into effective sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes, and ensure vendors meet TriNet's operational, financial, legal, and compliance standards.\nThis is a highly experienced senior level Individual Contributor leadership role that reports into the Global Procurement Leader requiring strong negotiation expertise, cross functional influence, and deep experience working with technology and services suppliers in fast moving, regulated service industries.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilites\nStrategic Sourcing & Category Leadership: Own end to end sourcing strategies for IT, Professional Services, Contingent Labour, Marketing and Facilities categories \nPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business demand, risk profile, and cost drivers \nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to TriNet’s cost, risk, and scalability objectives\nLead RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards\nSupplier Negotiation & Contracting: Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and risk protections\nCollaborate closely with Legal on contract structure, liability, SLA frameworks, and regulatory considerations\nEnsure contracts align with TriNet’s compliance, data privacy, security, and regulatory obligations \nDrive standardization and disciplined contracting practices across categories \nCross Functional Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, Risk, and Business Leaders\nBalance speed, control, and risk in sourcing decisions within a regulated services environment\nInfluence stakeholders without direct authority while maintaining strong governance\nGovernance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure supplier engagement aligns with internal policies, risk assessments, and approval workflows \nSupport third party risk management activities, including security, privacy, and compliance reviews\nMonitor supplier performance, commercial compliance, and renewals\nFinancial & Operational Impact: Deliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and risk reduction\nSupport budget planning, demand management, and forecast accuracy\nDrive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier outcomes\nActively guide and mentor junior team members towards department success \nRequired for All Jobs\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with all policies and standards\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required \nWork Experience\nTypically 12+ years 12-15 years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement, with senior leadership responsibility requiredStrong experience sourcing and negotiating IT, Professional Services, and Facilities required \nProven track record of complex supplier negotiations and contract structuring required \nDeep experience partnering with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and Compliance teams required \nExperience working in highly regulated, services led industries required\nPrior experience in PEO / ASO / HR Services / Payroll / Benefits / SaaS enabled services preferred \nBackground with organizations such as ADP, Rippling, Insperity, Paychex, or similar preferred \nFamiliarity with regulatory, data privacy, and security considerations common to HR and payroll ecosystems preferred \nAbility to “hit the ground running” with minimal domain ramp up preferred \n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nExecutive level negotiation and stakeholder management skills \nStrong business acumen and comfort engaging with senior leaders \nAbility to balance commercial outcomes with risk and compliance requirements \nStructured, data driven approach to decision making \nPragmatic, collaborative leadership style suited for matrixed organizations \nWork Environment\nWork in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office work setting.
