Staging for production, putting away completed products, and assisting with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nOperates a gas or electric forklift in the warehouse. \nPerforms daily machine inspections while adhering to established safety procedures. \nMoves product to work areas according to production schedule.\nStacks product in storage areas and loads shipments into trailer(s), container(s), and/or railcar(s).\nUnloads full and partial pallets, wraps pallets when necessary, stages product for loading, and checks pallets for accuracy to order.\nMaintains clean and organized aisles or rack storage, consolidates partial pallets when needed.\nLabels, sorts, wraps, and ties inventory product. \nCommunicates with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.\nComplies with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area.\nComplies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\nSkills, Intellectual Demands and Job Requirements:\nEDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nForklift certification preferred\nMinimum of one year or more of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:\nExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nAbility to work well with all levels of employees, whether individually or in a team environment\nAbility to perform basic math skills\nEffectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management personnel.\nFlexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.\nMust display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of
