This role supervises and develops maintenance staff, coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs, and works with all departments to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize downtime to ensure oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.\nOversees and performs electrical, electronic, mechanical maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs complex processing equipment, bulk-unloading equipment, and milling equipment.\nEvaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance and repairs of 480V 3 phase electrical control circuits, motor control circuits, device control circuits, and PLC control systems.\nOversees and performs preventative maintenance as required on all facility systems and equipment.\nOversees and performs installation of machinery and equipment to include but not limited to the ability to read blueprints and schematics. \nEnsures the fleet of powered industrial equipment is maintained and repaired as needed.\nApplies subject matter expertise in packaging/electronic systems and fleet equipment to maximize utilization.\nMaintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance.\nAssists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects\nDevelops maintenance procedures and schedules the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of all required repairs and maintenance.\nCoordinates with outside vendors regarding service contracts, required inspections, and repairs. \nManages inventory parts, including purchasing facility fixtures, parts, and equipment. \nProvides training, development, and coaching to build technical expertise in all aspects of the maintenance department and fosters learning and innovation.\nEnsures positive work environment in alignment with Trinidad Benham values, corporate policies and procedures, and government rules and regulations. \nSupports and guides the team in resolving issues, building and sustaining relationships, and promoting teamwork within the team, with other departments, and with external parties.\nComplies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.\nComplies with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area.\nCommunicates, administers, and enforces company rules, policies, and procedures consistently and equitably.\nCarries out performance reviews, coaching and mentoring, and performance improvement plans per HR guidelines.\nAll other duties as assigned by plant management.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n Required education and experience.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems.\nMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, including scheduling maintenance work, training employees, and coordinating repairs.\nExperience maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, including 480V three-phase circuits, motor controls, and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.\nExperience reading blueprints and technical schematics and installing machinery.\nExperience coordinating vendors, managing parts inventory, and maintaining maintenance records.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills with ability to identify issues and determine needed repairs. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute workflow. \nAbility to work well with all levels of employees whether individually or in a team environment.\nEffectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.\nFlexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) \nA valid driver's license and clean driving record. \n\nPreferred education and experience\n\n· Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related trade.\n\n· Bachelor's degree in in
