Maintenance Technician position is responsible for playing a critical role in the duties of supporting all production/facility equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and making necessary repairs on all equipment and facilities as needed to provide a safe work environment.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nSupports installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of facility equipment, including but not limited to packaging machinery, printing equipment, powered industrial equipment, HVAC, and fire systems.\nEvaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance and repairs of 480V 3-phase electrical control circuits, motor control circuits, device control circuits, and PLC control systems.\nMaintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a fleet of lift trucks, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts.\nApplies expertise in packaging/electronic systems and fleet equipment to maximize utilization.\nInstalls machinery and equipment, including but not limited to the ability to read blueprints, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe fitting.\nPerforms preventative maintenance as required on all systems and equipment.\nMaintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance.\nEnsures maintenance and repairs are completed correctly and on time.\nComplies with manufacturing Practices (GMP) and BRC procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required BRC forms.\nComplies with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nWHAT WE NEED\nEDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nDriver's license in good standing\n2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC, preferably in a manufacturing environment\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:\nStrong electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in a food processing environment\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow\nFlexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities\nMust display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment.\nMust be able to effectively manage time by organizing and planning work\nMust be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.\nExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nForklift Certification \nAbility to work well with all levels of employees, whether individually or in a team environment.\nEffectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management
