This job will support the Production Operation. Stand up is required and sit down experience is preferred.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.\nOperates a gas or electric forklifts (sit down and stand up) in the warehouse. \nOperates a forklift and other powered equipment when required and is thoroughly trained and operational; may perform more complex, heavy, or oversized transports. \nPerforms daily machine inspections while adhering to established safety procedures. \nReads and understands Bills of Lading and Pick Sheet. \nMoves product to work areas according to production schedule and daily pick-up sheet where needed. \nStacks product in storage areas, loads and unloads shipments to and from the trailer(s). \nUploads full and partial pallets, wrap pallets when necessary, stages product for loading, and checks pallets for accuracy to order. \nMaintains clean and organized aisles or racks storage, consolidates partial pallets when needed. \nLabels, sorts, wraps, and ties inventory products. \nLoads product into containers by hand. \nCompletes required paperwork per company standards. \nCommunicates with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs. \nComplies with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area. \nComplies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms. \nMaintains regular attendance and punctuality. \nPerforms tasks with little or no supervision. \nPerforms other duties as assigned by management. \n\nSkills, knowledge & expertise\n EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required \nMinimum of two (2) years or more of related experience in a manufacturing preferred \nForklift certification required \nValid state-issued driver's license preferred\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:\nExperience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment \nAbility to work well with all levels of employees, whether individually or in a team environment \nAbility to perform more complex problems \nEffectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management personnel \nFlexibility to accommodate
