Job Requirements3–6 years of hands-on backend development experience in enterprise environments. Strong proficiency in Java (11/17/21) and Spring Boot (Spring Web, Security, Data). Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices using OpenAPI/Swagger. Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle), SQL optimization, indexing, and transaction management. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven messaging. Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift. Proficiency in automated testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers. Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)Experience with legacy Java EE/J2EE applications (EJB, Servlets, SOAP/WSDL, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss). Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience, particularly in credit cards and unsecured lending.
