Officer\n\nJob Description:\n\n We are in need of a seasoned and well-experienced head of business development professionalcurrently working within a finance or commercial bank who will supervise the team, lead, and facilitate all marketing activities within the company.\n\n Trinity Financial Services Limited is a financial advisory and wealth management company, licensed and supervised by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide custom-made financial services to both corporate and individual customers.\n\n The business development manager will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.\n\n This role involves overseeing a high-performing marketing team, managing the marketing budget, and ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives and business goals.\n\nResponsibilities \n\n Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers.\n\n Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.\n\n Approving and rejecting loans based on available data\n\n Calculating and setting loan interest rates\n\n Negotiating the terms of the loan with new clients\n\n Ensuring all loans and lending procedures comply with regulations\n\n Maintaining records of all company loans.\n\n Monitoring loan payments and bad debts.\n\n Reviewing and updating the company’s credit policy.\n\n Strategic Leadership\n\n Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.\n\n Identify new market opportunities and lead market research initiatives.\n\n Define and track KPIs for marketing performance and ROI.\n\n Team Management\n\n Recruit, mentor, and manage junior teammates of marketing professionals.\n\n Promote a data-driven, collaborative, and innovative team culture.\n\n Provide regular performance feedback and professional development opportunities.\n\n Brand Management\n\n Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.\n\n Ensure consistency of brand voice across all platforms and touchpoints.\n\n Manage public relations, partnerships, and sponsorships.\n\n Digital Marketing & Campaigns\n\n Lead all marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.\n\n Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.\n\n Optimize the company website and digital presence for conversion and performance.\n\n Product & Customer Marketing\n\n Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.\n\n Oversee customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies.\n\n Gather customer insights to inform product development and messaging.\n\n Budgeting & Reporting\n\n Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.\n\n Analyze campaign performance and report results to senior leadership.\n\n Make data-informed recommendations for continuous improvement\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).\n\n Must be working with a finance or commercial bank.\n\n 7+years of experience in marketing, with at least 5years in a senior leadership role.\n\n Proven experience leading successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.\n\n strong marketing portfolio and customer base\n\n Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).\n\n Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.\n\n Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.\n\n Experience working in a financial or banking institution\n\n Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.\n\n Strong network within the job
