Trinity Financial Services Limited is a financial advisory and wealth management company, licensed and supervised by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide custom-made financial services to both corporate and individual customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and handling the financial activities and reports of the company.
• The ideal candidate must be currently working with a bank or financial services and must possess a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Oversee accounting/accounts payable/receivable teams and foster a culture of professional development.
• Strategic Growth: Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for expansion or cost-saving.
• Developing and enhancing internal reporting processes.
• Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining robust internal controls.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Developing long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives and market trends
• Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and present insights to the executive team.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity and manage investment strategies to optimize company capital.

Academic Qualification & Required Experience

• Sound financial presentation method.
• A proven track record of using data to solve complex business problems.
• Relevant professional qualification in ICAN, ACCA
• Knowledge of the use of the bank One core application is an added advantage
• Experience in preparing professional reports and presentations
• A master's degree in accounting or finance is an added advantage
• BankOne Accounting Software knowledge is an added advantage
• Experience in building and maintaining financial models and driving business decision support
• Advanced level of business and commercial acumen
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree with a 2:1 in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of continuous experience in finance and 2 years in a managerial position within a banking or financial sector
• Good use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bankone.
• Must be currently working with a financial or banking institution
