Role\n\nThe Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and handling the financial activities and reports of the company.\nThe ideal candidate must be currently working with a bank or financial services and must possess a deep understanding of financial modeling and the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTeam Leadership: Oversee accounting/accounts payable/receivable teams and foster a culture of professional development.\nStrategic Growth: Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for expansion or cost-saving.\nDeveloping and enhancing internal reporting processes.\nRisk Management: Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining robust internal controls.\nFinancial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts.\nDeveloping long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives and market trends\nReporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and present insights to the executive team.\nCash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity and manage investment strategies to optimize company capital.\n\nAcademic Qualification & Required Experience\n\nSound financial presentation method.\nA proven track record of using data to solve complex business problems.\nRelevant professional qualification in ICAN, ACCA\nKnowledge of the use of the bank One core application is an added advantage\nExperience in preparing professional reports and presentations\nA master's degree in accounting or finance is an added advantage\nBankOne Accounting Software knowledge is an added advantage\nExperience in building and maintaining financial models and driving business decision support\nAdvanced level of business and commercial acumen\nPossess a Bachelor's Degree with a 2:1 in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of continuous experience in finance and 2 years in a managerial position within a banking or financial sector\nGood use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bankone.\nMust be currently working with a financial or banking
