Travel between assigned sites may be required.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nCurrently enrolled in an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.\nEmployees who discontinue enrollment in an ARRT-recognized program during employment must immediately notify their supervisor and/or Human Resources.\nPrevious patient care experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.\nCertifications\nBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network is required upon hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or otherwise defined by the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.\nSkills & Knowledge\nKnowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety principles.\nAbility to operate imaging equipment and maintain familiarity with related instruments and supplies.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and cognitive abilities.\nAbility to maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols and procedures.\nDemonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality care, and service excellence.\nEssential Functions\nDemonstrate and uphold the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values through daily behaviors, practices, and decision-making.\nProvide compassionate, age-appropriate care to all patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as applicable.\nPerform ordered imaging procedures according to departmental policies, protocols, and quality standards, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic exams.\nMaintain complete and accurate patient, procedure, and revenue-related documentation to support proper charge capture and billing processes.\nEnsure accurate documentation and tracking of medications, contrast agents, and other supplies used during procedures, as applicable.\nMaintain appropriate inventory levels of instruments, equipment, and supplies necessary for patient care and imaging services.\nAssist in establishing and maintaining sterile technique and a safe procedural environment when required.\nAdhere to all radiation safety regulations, infection prevention standards, and departmental policies.\nCommunicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes and experiences.\nMaintain competency in the operation and care of imaging equipment to support the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.\nTravel between designated sites as needed to support departmental operations.\nOur Commitment\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
