This role supports safe, high-quality patient care by ensuring all supplies and instrumentation are prepared accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDecontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments, procedure trays, equipment, crash carts, and supplies using prescribed procedures and aseptic technique.\nOperate sterilization equipment (including steam and gas plasma autoclaves), ensuring proper loading, cycle selection, and documentation in compliance with AORN, Joint Commission, OSHA, and AAMI standards.\nAssemble surgical case carts, trays, packs, and kits; maintain supply inventory; assist with OR setup; clean and maintain patient care equipment and crash carts; utilize instrument tracking systems; and support departmental workflow and training.\nEducation & Experience Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED required. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Central Sterile Processing program or minimum of one (1) year of sterile processing experience required.
