Responsibilities include resident account setup and maintenance, monthly billing, payment posting, account reconciliation, collection follow-up, discharge processing, and refund administration. The successful candidate will work closely with residents, families, and internal departments to ensure accurate account management and exceptional customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage resident accounts from admission through discharge.\nEstablish and maintain resident demographic, financial, and billing information.\nProcess monthly billing for private pay residents and contracted agencies.\nPost and reconcile payments, account adjustments, and cash receipts.\nResearch and resolve billing discrepancies and account inquiries.\nMonitor outstanding account balances and perform collection follow-up.\nComplete discharge account reconciliations and process refunds as appropriate.\nCommunicate professionally with residents, families, and internal departments.\nMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nTwo to three years of billing, accounts receivable, healthcare finance, or related experience required.\nExperience with private pay billing, account reconciliations, cash posting, and collections preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.\nPay Range: $18.50 - $24.66\nPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
