Position Tite:
Clinic Clerical Lead
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the clinic, including staff coordination, process improvement, training, and troubleshooting. The role assists inmanaging workload assignments, scheduling, patient registrations, and medicalrecords, while ensuring smooth clinic operations and patient flow. The position also involves administrative duties such as coordinating billing, handling patient inquiries, verifying insurance, and managing special projects. The lead serves as a resource for staff, provides direction in the absence of the manager, and ensures adherence to performance expectations and operational policies.

Full Time; 40 hours/week

Job Duties:
Knows, understands, incorporates,and demonstrates theTrinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Optimizes clinicoperations, assisting withpatient registration, billing, demographics, code scanning, denials, and collections.
Oversees staff scheduling, onboarding, andeducation. Assists withpayroll, timekeeping, and performance management
Recognizes and addresses issues,improving clinic flowand ensuring quality patient care. Responds to patient inquiries.
Actively participates inmeetings, leads huddles,ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadershipenvironment.
Associate's degree in related field required. Equivalent years of experience in related fields may be considered in lieuof Associate’s degree.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in a medical office orhealthcare setting.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific topopulation served withinthree (3) months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
