Will work closely with the transportation department, participants, caregivers, and center staff.\nPosition Details:\nHours will be worked exclusively onsite.\nWhat you will do:\nMaintain accurate participant schedules, including service details as per care plans.\n\nNotify managers of scheduling changes requiring a physician's order.\n\nRecord scheduling updates daily and respond promptly to participant referrals.\n\nCoordinate with all departments involved in participant appointments.\n\nEnsure nursing completes participant education before appointments.\n\nUse electronic scheduling systems; schedule Aides services as determined by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).\n\nTrack training and medical clearances for agency personnel.\n\nReview agency invoices for accuracy and forward for approval.\n\nCreate EPIC authorizations and transportation appointments.\n\nRemind participants/caregivers of appointments.\n\nIn the absence of the manager, review agency invoices for accuracy of billed agency hours and forwards onto the Nursing leader for approval, if applicable.\n\nCreate EPIC authorization, transportation appointment, escort appointment, etc.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.\n\n1 year scheduling experience required\n\nPrevious medical scheduling experience strongly preferred.\n\n1 year experience with a frail or elderly population, or appropriate training upon hiring.\n\nOne year of customer service experience serving as the first point of contact via email/phone/in person strongly preferred.\n\nStrong organizational and conflict management skills\n\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills and flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and changing priorities.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system.\n\nAbility to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.\n\nPosition may require 10% of travel within the Centers geographic region.\n\nPosition Highlights and Benefits:\nComprehensive benefit including 1st Day medical coverage, dental, vision, paid time off, 403B and educational assistance.\n\nAccess to daily pay and employee referral incentives.\n\nSupportive environment with a patient-centered focus.\n\nOpportunities for professional development.\n\nMinistry/Facility Information\nSaint Francis LIFE College Avenue, part of Trinity Health PACE, provides high-quality care to seniors in the communities we serve.
