Administrative functions include primary source verification of credentialing applications to include critical analysis of a provider's competence through assessment education and specific training. Serves as a credentialing liaison for Health Partners with all internal and external credentialing entities.\nWhat we are looking for:\nEducation: Associate degree in administration, health or behavioral science field preferred.\nLicensure / Certification: Certified Professional Credentialing Services (CPCS) and/or\nCertified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) certification preferred;\n(National Association of Medical Staff Services)\nExperience: Minimum of two years experience performing administrative duties.\nExperience working with physicians preferred. Credentialing experience preferred.\nEffective Communication Skills\nKnowledge of medical terminology preferred.\nKnowledge of basic and credentialing computer software including internet use and\nspreadsheets preferred.\nMust be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.\nKnowledge of external regulatory requirements (ODHHS, ODM, OIG, NCQA) preferred.\nAbility to problem solve and make decisions.\nAbility to maintain confidential / sensitive physician information.\nMount Carmel and all its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity employers.
