Our unit features 12 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms, high-risk and antepartum suites, dedicated C-section rooms, and a collaborative team of RNs, Surgical Technologists, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Clerks.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for Labor & Delivery procedures.\nSet up instruments, supplies, drapes, and equipment according to surgeon preferences.\nAssist surgeons during C-sections and other procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs.\nSupport the RN with circulating duties, patient positioning, and obtaining supplies and equipment.\nPerform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure patient safety.\nQualifications:\nAssociate degree in Surgical Technology OR two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience.\nNo experience required with an Associate degree; otherwise, two (2) years of surgical technologist experience is required.\nStrong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care.\nIf you are passionate about surgical services and want to make a meaningful impact in Labor & Delivery, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated care team at Trinity Health Oakland.\nOur Commitment\nRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
