Conducts other chemical checks on water and adjusts chemicals as needed.\nIs responsible for oiling and greasing moving mechanisms, maintaining proper water condition in boilers and cleaning boilers.\nObserves state and local regulations such as periodically shutting down boilers and inspecting interiors for scale deposits.\nDetects warning signals and machinery malfunctions by sound.\nHas responsibility for the functioning of the emergency generators and their periodic testing.\nClears and resents the Pneumatic tube system as requested while maintaining the plant in a clean and orderly condition\nMay be required to work at any Mercy facilities \nThe job summary and responsibilities listed above are designed to indicate the general nature of the work performed within this job.
